Sue Stuart – Travel Specialist Shire Travel
Sue has been in the industry for 35 years and although has no children of her own has planned many family holidays!
A great place for older children is Switzerland! Grindelwald offers First Flyer an easy Zip line experience, ride a Scooter down a small hillside road to the village and then travelling to Engelberg to visit Mt Titlis which requires 3 separate cable cars to reach the top of the Mountain where you can Toboggan, walk the highest suspension bridge in Europe and then walk through the Glacier Cave. Switzerland offers so many beautiful areas without the distant of long travel days making it ideal for families.

For a domestic family holiday he recommends the Mantra on Salt or Peppers Salt Resort at Kingscliff – ideal location and facilities for a family getaway.
Cruising on the Carnival Legend or Spirit will keep all members of the family happy with comfortable cabins and activities and food options for all tastes- the best choice for large family groups.

I have worked in the Travel Industry for 20 years, and am happiest when planning leisure travel for my clients.
I travel regularly with my husband and 3 boys 11, 13 and 17 years, and we’re currently looking forward to a trip to Vietnam, where we will explore Hanoi, the beach town of Hoi An, and finish off with a few days in Hong Kong. We’ve recently travelled to England, Ireland, Italy and Dubai, and consider myself something of an expert in finding great things for the kids to do in between the museums and culture. Our kids really enjoyed the Gladiator School that we found in Rome.
Having grown up in, and travelled extensively in New Zealand, I consider myself something of a New Zealand expert.
My bucket-list destinations include the countryside’s of Spain and Portugal, South America especially the Galapagos islands, and I really relish the idea of a relaxing, do nothing at all Pacific Cruise.
